Tallsalt is majority owned and controlled by a Native American, Steve Gundersen, who is an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation.

Tallsalt is jointly owned by Mette Associates, LLC and Sabre. Mr. Gundersen is the sole owner of Mette Associates while Sabre is a non-Indian owned company whose sole owner is Aaron Edelheit.
