Mr. Gundersen is the President of Tallsalt Asset Management. His thirteen years of business experience includes mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate finance and investment management across a wide range of industries.

Mr. Gundersen began his career at a provider of retirement investment products and then at a financial consulting firm specializing in mergers, acquisitions and financial restructurings in the healthcare and real estate industries. Thereafter, he joined Trenwith Securities, a boutique investment banking firm in Newport Beach, California. While at Trenwith, Mr. Gundersen represented business owners in selling their companies to private equity investment funds and strategic buyers, as well as raising debt and equity capital to fund business growth. In 2000, Mr. Gundersen joined EMAK Worldwide, a NASDAQ-listed company, to lead the company’s acquisition program. As Vice President of Corporate Development he completed several domestic and international acquisitions.

Mr. Gundersen is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth and a speaker on the topic of M&A, and he has also spoken on the topic of Economic Development on Native American lands. He also takes an active role in developing future leaders through the American Leadership Academy where he frequently speaks to promising college students on business ethics and communication skills.

He received his degree in business administration from the University of Washington and his MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. Mr. Gundersen, who is a member of the Navajo Nation, also served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve.
